MEET JAMES KNABE!

James Knabe is a professional trumpet artist with more than thirty years of experience, trained at the New England Conservatory of Music and the University of Iowa. Throughout his career, he has taught students of all ages and skill levels - from beginnners to professionals - equipping him with a unique ability to teach the art of sounding the shofar with both precision and heart.

Since 2012, James and his family have ministered across the country through Trumpet of Glory Ministries, sharing the message of Jesus through music, teaching, and the sound of the Shofar.

For the past eight years, James has sounded the Shofar at: Gateway Church in Southlake, TX during Shabbat services and special events, including concerts with Aaron Shust, Joshua Aaron, and Paul Wilbur. He was also featured in the 50th anniversary celebration at Christ for the Nations in Dallas, TX, sounding the Shofar alongside artists such as Kari Jobe, Cody Carnes, and Rick Pino.

Most recently, he had the honor of sounding the Shofar at the Potter's House in Dallas during the historic mantle-passing from Bishop T.D. Jakes to Sarah Jakes Roberts and Pastor Toure Roberts.
